The event took place on 26 April in the Podil Theater and was organized by the Ure Club. The topical issues of industrial real estate of Ukraine were discussed. During the past three years, there have been opened 124 plants in the country. 68 of them were started only during 2017 year. The first section of the forum was devoted to the trends of industrial realty estate. The second section of the event was devoted to the building of infrastructure objects.
The speakers are the event were the President of KAN Development Igor Nikonov, the Vice-president of Commerce and Industry Chamber of Ukraine Rostislav Korko, the Head of the Association of Turkish and Ukrainian Businessmen Burak Pehlivan, the Representative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Melnyk.
Also the state of industrial realty of the country was discussed, the benefits of the formation of parks for participants, heads of enterprises and the state were defined. During the conversation it became clear that industrial construction can not develop without the government support. Moreover, It is necessary to create flexible taxation conditions and a system of preferences for such zones.
“Industrial parks are the only way to attract investments and make our country an industrial dragon”, Nikonov said. The head of realty practice DLA Piper Natalia Kochergina described the development of the industrial and infrastructure potential of the country, as well as factors that have a positive effect on it. According to DLA Piper, since 2015 about 60 plants have been started in Ukraine, more than 30 power plants have been connected to renewable energy sources, in 2017 elevators with a total capacity of more than 400 thousand tons have been put into operation.

The expert also highlighted the factors that influence the growth of investors’ interest in Ukrainian projects.
At the second section of the event Oleksandr Mazurko, the Head of BetonEnergo presented an overview of building materials for different types of construction: from ferroconcrete structures for engineering networks to products for residential and commercial construction.
Volodymyr Klymenko, the Deputy General Director for Interaction with Authorities of JV “Nibulon”, told about large-scale projects of the company that include the sea terminal in Mykolayiv, 11 river terminals, 25 elevators and the fleet of 67 units. The theme of the potential of the revival of shipbuilding and navigation on the inland waterways of the country was revealed.
Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association Andriy Konechenkov revealed the advantages and prospects of the wind energy sector in Ukraine. Wind energy in the structure of energy resources of Europe ranks 2nd and accounts for 16.7% of the Wind energy takes on the second place in the structure of Europe energy resources and accounts 16.7% in total.
In Ukraine, that fractional of energy produced from renewable sources is only 1.4%. At the same time, in 2017, the amount of energy produced energy increased in more than 4 times, compared to 2010 figures. According to experts’ predictions by 2020 the figures will increase in 7 times.
UVT Group leader Andriy Antonenko and deputy mayor of Zaporizhzhia Sergiy Mishok, presented a case for the construction of a new airport terminal. The passenger traffic of Zaporizhzhya Airport increases year by year and has incresed to 350 thousand people in 2017. The number of flights and airlines also grows. The strategic goal of the new project was to create a high-tech and progressive airport, which increases the investment attractiveness of the region.
