List of the best buildings of The Great Britain 2016

Royal Institute of British Architects named 46 winners of the annual award RIBA National Award.

National Award RIBA – is the last stage in a number of architectural annual awards in the UK. The winner of the prestigious British prize will be chosen from the RIBA winners Stirling.

Like in the last year, most of the projects amounted to schools and residential complexes. Bureau Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, which has received the Stirling Prize in 2016 for school Burntwood, this time sentenced to two national awards: the residential complex at 61 Oxford Street and the school ARK All Saints Academy.

The list of winners also includes Herzog & de Meuron, with the school management at Oxford, and Mecanoo, with Cultural Center HOME. Oxford bridge architectural bureau of Zaha Hadid Architects was noted with an award.
