Northwestern University Ryan Center – new building, created for music lessons and is located on the south of the Northwestern University Pick-Staiger Concert Hall and Regenstein Hall of Music. Architects Bureau Goettsch Partners gave the project a variety of cutting-edge features, including a double-skin facade and modernized system of drainage.Building dynamic Z-shaped planning has several innovative features. But the point is that the waste water from all the rooms is going to the big underground tank and is recycled to irrigate the green areas.All rooms meet the acoustic requirements, including room for opera and solo rehearsals. The concert hall – the pearl of Northwestern University Ryan Center. Through glazed aperture, 40-feet, offers an incredible view of Lake Michigan and the city of Chicago.
AMS Nest

AMS Nest project was realized by the studio DIALOG together with the B + H Architects, 75% of the cost was provided by the student fund. The result is a unique design process where the community took on the role of the client, and student involvement in the process of work has become a major factor in the implementation of AMS Nest.The important features of the structure is a highly efficient energy system – a special lining, thick glass and a roof with solar panels, which produce energy for heat and to cool the building.
La Maison du Savoir – University of Luxembourg

Maison du Savoir – is both an icon of the future and a reminder of the past, which was embodied in the focal point of the new university. After all, before this there was located a factory for the production of steel. The building has become a bright and highly visible structure. Horizontally and vertically elongated volume holds the overall infrastructure of the University, which was founded in 2003.The facade is made by special technology, which adjusts the exposure to light inside, which greatly reduces the consumption of energy consumed for cooling.
Vo Trong Nghia’s FPT University Ho Chi Minh

Architectural bureau Vo Trong Nghia Architects in 2015, has developed a project of the University,which benefits not only the students, but also the environment.In Vietnamese cities only 0.25% is covered with greenery, which increases the percentage of pollution, energy consumption, and increasing the temperature. With this project should begin the restoration of the natural landscape of the city. Architects provided a semi-open garden around the building, connecting each floor, a smooth transition into the roof, which forms an additional public space. In addition, this solution lets you move away from the stereotypes associated with straight and vertical buildings and significantly reduce energy consumption.
Boldrewood Innovation Campus
Location: Burgess Rd, Southampton, Southampton SO16 3AY, UK
Project research center on campus designed by the architects bureau Grimshaw.Boldrewood Innovation Campus, is equipped with a night-time thermal storage through exposed concrete soffits, options for both natural and low velocity displacement ventilation, and minimisation of solar gain through appropriate external shading. An innovative, low-energy rain water filtration system was also pioneered on the Lloyd’s Register building, the first time such a system has been used on this scale. All four university buildings are exclusively lit by LED fittings, the first buildings of their kind to do so in the UK.The palette of materials of four buildings include limestone, terra-cotta moldings, anodized aluminum, glass and cedar.According to the professor of the university, what was built here is a real vision for the future. The campus will serve as a springboard for innovation and a source of inspiration for all those who work and study here.In conclusion, I would like to note that today the institutions, in the context of architecture, got a new kind of the requirements of modern times. They carry the idea of non-stop development, innovation and concern for the environment. And the use of latest technologies in the construction and engineering, of course, make the world better!
