Designed silo with a capacity of 35 thousand tons, has a cylindrical shape formed with reinforced concrete walls. The wall thickness is 320 mm. The feature of this design is that the walls and floors after construction are tightening by steel cables, the system “Freyssinet”, which passed in a pre-arranged in the concrete walls of the channels. After the tension cables channels are filled with grout.
For optimal temperature keeping sugars during storage silo walls are laid electric cables for heating.
Another difference from traditional buildings is the use of silage as overlapping oval dome of metal structures, which reduces the metal content design
